CHAPEL HOMES


We provide safe, supportive, short-term homes for people in Corby who need an opportunity to rebuild their lives.


At Chapel Homes, we believe a home is about more than having a roof over your head. Having the right people around you, practical support and a community you can belong to can make a real difference when you’re working towards a fresh start.


As part of the Chapel Gym family, and working in partnership with Hope into Action, we provide supported accommodation alongside encouragement and practical help, empowering our tenants to move towards greater independence and a more secure future.

HOW WE SUPPORT TENANTS


Every person’s circumstances are different, so our support is focused on helping each tenant take practical steps forward.


This can include support to:


  • Access services and benefits
  • Manage finances and budgeting
  • Explore volunteering opportunities as a step towards employment
  • Find employment, education or training opportunities
  • Build healthy, sustainable relationships
  • Prepare for moving into suitable, longer-term accommodation


Our aim isn’t simply to provide somewhere to stay. We want to help people build the confidence, skills and support networks they need for the next chapter of their lives.

HOW IT WORKS


Empowerment Worker

Our Empowerment Worker provides coaching, advocacy and practical support, helping tenants work towards greater independence and employment during their time with Chapel Homes.


Volunteer Support

Tenants are also supported by trained volunteers from our local church community, who provide friendship, encouragement and practical help throughout their journey.


The Chapel Gym Community

Being part of Chapel Homes also means having the opportunity to become part of the wider Chapel Gym community – building relationships, improving physical and mental wellbeing and gaining valuable work experience.

REFERRALS


We particularly prioritise people with strong connections to Corby who are recent prison leavers or who are leaving formal rehabilitation for addiction.
